Summary

The metal fabricator will be responsible for the day to day fabrication of metal products and parts.  Our production team members are responsible for learning approved fabrication methods and techniques to ensure the highest quality production possible, while meeting daily schedules and goals. 

The Production Team Member’s responsibilities also include keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Fabricate, assemble and prepare products for installation and shipment
·         Meet quality standards
·         Preform work in accordance with scheduled daily activities
·         Monitor manufacturing equipment and safety procedures and notify management of issues

 

Required Skills

·         Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
·         Experience operating manufacturing machinery.
·         Able to work as part of a team.
·         Good communication skills.
·         Basic math skills.
·         Physical dexterity.
·         Available for shift work.
·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
·         Ability to stand up to 100% of the assigned shift

 

Education / Experience

To be considered for this position you must have:

·         MUST BE PROFICIENT AT WELDING & METAL FABRICATION

·         High School Degree or GED or relevant experience

·         Sign industry experience not required but is a plus

 

Employment Details 

  • ·         Reports to:  Production Manager & Production Department Lead
    ·         Status: Hourly
    ·         Compensation:  $20-30 Depending on Experience and Skill Level
    ·         Hours: Monday - Friday from 6AM-2:45PM.
    ·         Benefits (after 90 days):
                 Medical, Dental, Vision (cost for benefits may apply)
                 Holiday Pay (6 paid holidays/year minimum)
                 PTO (1 week min/year with increments at 3 years and 5 years)
